About Koreatify

Making good sports gear
Korea-ready.

Koreatify is a sports goods importer and distributor based in Incheon, Korea. As the name says, our job is to make international products Korea-ready: certification checks, Korean labeling, product pages, channel listings and customer service, all handled in-house.

It's built on hands-on selling. We've sold a wide range of sports goods, from lifting belts, wrist and knee supports and gym balls to foam rollers, exercise mats and running vests, across 18 Korean channels: open marketplaces, TV shopping, fashion platforms, hypermarkets and department stores.

Vision

To be the company international sports brands call first when they think about Korea, and to get there one brand at a time, built to last.

VALUE 01

Built to be premium in Korea.

We'd rather protect a brand's price than chase volume with discounts. From product pages to the channels we choose, everything is matched to the brand's standing.

VALUE 02

Paperwork before promotion.

Certification, labeling and ad-copy checks are done before the first listing goes live. Selling without problems matters more than listing fast.

VALUE 03

We don't walk away.

We judge our work by the reorder, not the first order. Once we take on a brand, we go the distance with it.

Founder's Note

Keep going.
Keep growing.

When I started selling sports goods, I made up my mind to build this into a real business, not a side project. Since then I've sold lifting belts, wrist wraps, knee supports, foam rollers and more on 18 Korean channels. Listing a product turned out to be the easy part. Customer questions, returns, labeling, every line of ad copy: each channel has its own rules, and I learned them one at a time.

From abroad, the Korean market is hard to see clearly. I'll tell you exactly what we see here: why something sells, and why it doesn't. I want to build this one brand at a time, and grow with the brands we work with.

Why Koreatify

Why brands work
with Koreatify

01

Hands-on across 18 channels

Every channel has its own listing rules, its own best-sellers and its own buyers. We learned those differences by selling, not from a report.

02

We know Korean sports shoppers

From weight training to running, yoga and pilates. The sport changes, but the questions before a purchase, about sizing, materials and how to use it, stay much the same. We've learned to answer them first, by selling.

03

Compliance comes first

Before anything goes on sale, we check KC certification scope, Korean labeling and any wording that could be mistaken for a medical claim.

04

Fewer brands, closer care

Rather than taking on as many brands as possible, we look after pricing, stock and reviews for the ones we carry.

Services

From import to after-sales

Everything a sports product needs to reach Korean customers, handled in one place.

Brand Sourcing

Finding the right brands

Running, outdoor, fitness, ball sports and beyond: we look for international sports brands Korean customers are already searching for, and check the market fit before anything else.

Import & Customs

Import and customs clearance

Working with a licensed customs broker, we handle HS classification, FTA origin checks and clearance through to receiving the goods in Korea.

Certification & Labeling

Certification and labeling

We check whether each item falls under KC certification and prepare Korean labeling: origin, importer, materials and cautions.

Distribution

Distribution in Korea

We choose the channels that fit each product and price point, then list and run sales ourselves.

Korean Content

Korean product content

We write product pages, product names and size guides for Korean shoppers, without making claims the product can't back up.

Customer Care

Customer care and after-sales

We handle questions, exchanges, returns and reviews in Korean, and pass recurring issues back to the brand in a clear summary.

Process

How we work together

Terms differ from brand to brand, but the order stays the same, and we tell you what happens at each step before it starts.

01

First conversation

We learn about your brand and line-up, and what each side expects.

02

Samples and agreement

We check quality and sizing with samples, then agree on terms in writing.

03

Market and regulatory review

Once terms are agreed, we run a detailed review of competing products, price points, KC certification scope and labeling requirements.

04

Import and clearance

We manage shipping and customs clearance through to receiving the goods in Korea.

05

Localization

We prepare Korean labels, product pages and channel listings.

06

Sales and reporting

We share sales updates and customer feedback on a regular schedule.

Korean Market Compliance
